Add new dataset to the CAOS-Library (1 of 2)
To add a new dataset into the library a specific formatfor the data and additional information is necessary.
Five folders in total have to be created and it is very important
that they are labeled as listed below:
Description of the folder contents:
make all information regarding the dataset accesible to other users.
The attribute folder should contain all five overview charts and the total barcode chart
that are created by the CAOS-Barcoder program. These charts allow other users to examine the
number and quality of the character attributes that where detected by the CAOS-Analyzer for
the choosen dataset of interest.
The barcodes folder should contain the barcode matrix and a fasta file with the alignment
of all sequences used in the dataset. The barcode matrix will be implemented in the CAOS-Classifier
and should allow yourself as well as other users to use it for the identification of new samples.
It is very important that the matrix is named with the project name followed by "_barcode.csv"
(e.g. if the project is called "Ischnura" the matrix should be named "Ischnura_barcode.csv"). The
same goes for the fasta file (e.g. "Ischnura.fas").
